Dewatering Bags

A dewatering bag is a filter bag you pump dirty water into. The water seeps out through the fabric and the sediment stays inside, so you can drain an excavation, trench, vault or sump without sending mud into a storm drain or creek.

What's in this collection

  • Oil and Sediment models in 3' x 4', 6' x 6', 8' x 8', 10' x 15' and 15' x 15'. They catch silt and also pull oil out of the water.
  • Reusable model with 3' x 5' and 5' x 7' replacement bags and locking rods, for crews that dewater often.
  • Hose connector (Part #9739) for the pump line.

Picking a size

Bigger bags handle more water and hold more sediment before they fill up. Match the bag to your pump and the amount of sediment in the water, and set it on a flat, stable spot where the filtered water can drain away. When in doubt, go a size up.
